#107 Emily's Cammo Cache

A second cache with my son and granson. The boy was so excited to find so many goodies in the tin. Placed a new log as the original was soaked through. Took coin and left blue pig.TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#106 Bambi's Forest

Found this whilst in Darwin doing a delivery. It was only a couple of minutes from my sons house so we went up with me, my son and my grandson and grabbed a quick couple of caches. Cache had been muggled and we only found parts of the container and the bag from the log book. Replaced the logbook with a new one and pencil and put the cache back where I thought it should be. Needs checking sometime soon.TFTC

#105 WanAus 50 - John Flynn Memorial

Another one grabbed while taking a load to Darwin. TNLN TFTC. Everything was in order as it should be and an interesting peice of Australian history.

Cheers Geoff1313

#104 Top End ?

Found this one on a trip to Darwin with some machinery on. Made a pleasent break in a long days driving. Cache was in good condition. Left a red car. TFTC

#103 Doolackah Soldier

Parked just down the road from this one last night and I thought I could grab this one while the truck warmed up this morning. I like these military memorial caches as it make people stop and even if the don't think of the history at least they see it. Cache is in good condition TNLN.

Cheers Geoff1313

#102 Welcome Home

Well to me this wasn't a welcome home but a farewell from Charleville and get on your way. Again a nice simple find beside the hi-way. SL TFTC. The tree (not the one in the photo) looked so out of place.

Cheers geoff1313

#101 Drought-Buster

A nice simple find to break up the trip home. Interesting piece of history here. I think the American Indian idea of dancing for rain makes just as much sense though and probably just as effective. Cache was in good condition. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#100 Welcome Strangers

This makes 100 finds. The rocks became a bit of a nightmare. I found 4 separate snake skins in among the rocks and the clue which became so obvious in hind sight did not help me one little bit. I had been out to the Wareena gas exploration site to deliver a tank and as this was to be my farthest west find and my 100th, I was not giving up even if it meant moving every single rock. After a bit of looking and thinking to myself it cant be this hard, a bolt of lightning struck and I had the cache in hand. This one gets a favourite point for a few reasons but mainly because of where it is. There is some beautiful country west of here and now that it is so green it is a pleasure to see it. Took a steel marble because I never had one this big when I was a kid, and left a furry dog. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#99 Kiss Kiss

On my way to Wareena Gas fields to deliver a tank. When leaving Home I had 98 finds so this is number 99. My plan is to try and find the one at Quilpe and make my hundredth find also my farthest west. But that is for tomorrow. This was a great cache with a tricky hide. Made me scratch my head for a while. The name had me going and it took a while for the penny to drop, but when I found the cache and the double meaning became obvious I wondered why it took me so long. TNLNSL. Well it would be almost impossible to leave anything wouldn't it.

#98 Road Kill

Found this one today whilst on my way to Toowoomba to pick up some parts for a truck. I have driven past here a lot in the last few weeks but anyone who knows this road would realise this is no place to be stopping a truck for a walk around. The cache was easy enough to locate but it was in really bad condition. The lid has fallen of the tin and the log was saturated. As I was on a flying visit, I had nothing with me to replace anything so if the owner has a chance, this one needs help. TFTC. I didn't even have the camaera with me so a photo will have to come at a later date.

#97 Bells Meadows

Another cemetery cache. So much history around these places I love them. A quick grab on the way through town. TNLN TFTC. Creeping up there towards number 100. Might make it before the end of the month. It was a bit disappointing to fail in my quest to get a cacache a day in the month but work got in the way as it does from time to time.

Cheers Geoff1313

#96 Set in Concrete

Another well hidden speedmistress cache ticked off the list. Cache is in good condition. I left a furry pig and took nothing. TFTC. Loved the mural. Something that I didn't expect to find in such a small town.

Cheers geoff1313

#95 Below 0.05 Stay Alive

Found this one on the way home after a delivery out to the power station at Kogan Creek. An easy find. The was difficult part was to replace the cache thanks to the 2 car loads of muggles arriving at the wrong time. A little bit of patience and a little bit of stealth had the cache returned to its location and me on my way TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#94 Transformer with a view

Found this one tonight with Julie after having dinner out. Great views from here and a neat cache. SL. TFTC.
We didn't have the camera with us so I will stop and get a piccy later. Julie actually found this one it was a ripper. Very smart hide.

Cheers Geoff1313

#93 aaarrgh! ye' dumbo is orange

Well in my mission to get at least one cache per day for the whole month of March, 14 Mar was not looking promising. At 2330 still no find when I stopped for fuel. A quick look and bingo a cache not far away. So at 2345 I scored today's. SL TFTC. A nice easy find even in the dark.Oh by the way I would say he is red not orange. :)

#92 Woodhill Pioneers

20 from 20 on a day of caching with my brother Brahms 6. What a great day. 10 hours and 20 from 20 with not 1 DNF. How good is that. I must admit that this one nearly had us stumped. Even with the clue and knowing that someone else had found it earlier in the day, we still spent 15 minutes scratching around. We even had Julie scratching in the dirt looking for this one. With a cane toad heading into the cache site I was almost ready to call it quits but good old Brahms 6 was having none of that. 1 more quick look and lo and behold the cache is in hand. this time I left the goat and took the Picininny. SL. TFTC.

What a day. Some childhood memories revisited. Some tough caches attempted and beaten. Seeing a side of my brother that surprised and amazed me. Thanks Rodney and Julie for a great days enjoyment.

Cheers Geoff1313

#91 Working for the Railroad

19 of 20 for the day with Brahms 6. After 18 we had beaten Brahms 6's best daily record but with only 2 to go to get 20 we decided to push on although once the rain started and i saw the walk we had to do to et this one, I almost bailed out. Once we reached the GC both the GPS and the iPhone caused us both some grief. This one caused us to resort to using the clue for only the first time today. Even then we still had several goes at finding the cache. This was one that really was right under our noses. After finding the caches and admiring the simplicity of the hide, we signed the log. I took the Flying Dragon and left a Cow. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#90 The Last Boy Scout

18 of 20 for the day caching with my brother Brahms 6. This one had us drifting back to a different time and talking about our father and how much he would have enjoyed spending the day with us. He was a bushie thru and thru and would have enjoyed the countryside that geocaching is taking me to, however I doubt that he would have handled the technology required to get there. I left the sheep and took the red truck. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#89 High Ground II

17 of 20 for the day and 1 more for Brahms 6 to get his most caches for a day. This one was harder then some of the others, and this time it was my turn to catch the grass seeds. Again the iPhone and the GPS disagreed and again the GPS was far more accurate. This is starting to become a common theme. Another find for Brahms 6 and we signed the log and continued on our merry way. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#88 Sit an watch the grass grow

On a roll 16 of 20 for the day with Brahms 6. We had this one pegged before we even got out of the car. An aptly named cache and we did as instructed and sat and watched the grass grow as the Julie snapped the photos for us. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#87 Payne in the Log

15 of 20 with Brahams 6 today and so far 15 from 15 tries. Payne in the Log. I wonder if this road was named after Keith Payne VC. Australias only surviving VC before the current conflict allow 2 more of our young hero's to shine. Ahh well it made for interesting conversation as we grabbed and signed the log. I left an Ostrich and took a toy soldier fitting I thought after the discussion we had just had. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#86 Flag-gle Rock

14 of 20 on a day of caching with Brahms 6. Well we got my 13 now it appears we are working on Brahms 6's best day at around 18. This had his GPS and my iPhone arguing considerably. Well he was right and I was wrong so he quickly had the cache in hand. Signed the log and took the regulatory picture for posterity. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#85 Eratosthenes

13 of 20 on a day of caching with Brahms 6. At this stage Brahms 6 gave me a bunch of swaps to add to my collection so I had a far better range. This one took some agility and nifty footwork to get the cache. Took the army Jeep and left the cat. I really am curious about the title of this cache, maybe a bit of googleing to work it out is required. TFTC. Hmm Eratosthenes a greek mathimatition who basicly was the founder of Lat and Long. Now I get it.

Cheers Geoff1313

#84 Asleep on Scott

12 of 20 for the day with Brahms 6. This was a nice easy drive by. Not where I expected it to be but rather a good hide. TNLN. TFTC. After signing the log we quickly moved on looking for my13th cache for the day. A milestone for me as 13 is my lucky number.

#83 Double Trouble

11 of 20 for the day with my brother and fellow cacher Brahms 6. I wanted to make sure that he would be well and truly in caching mode before attempting this one as this was to be my 4th attempt at finding this cache. Well we drove to the jumping off point and proceeded to make the walk up the hill to try and find the cache. Well once arriving at the top initially the GPS had us climbing the fence onto the roadway but after reinitializing it pointed us back into the viewing area. Well I had been up here with the Julie for about an hour and on another 2 occasions on my own for about an hour each time. Imagine my pleasure when 10 minutes later Brahms 6 located the cache. We signed the log and I was simply amazed out how obvious it really was. I had looked in that spot on 4 occasions and not seen what I was looking at. TNLN. TFTC. Another one ticked of for the day and my nemisis beaten. The photo is of Brahms 6 signing the log.

Cheers Geoff1313

#82 Beppie

10 of 20 today with my brother Brahms 6. I wonder if bar-bq has a sick sense of humor. First we followed the wrong road and came up against the private property. No problem, we can go around this. So a quick re-evaluation and around the private property to the correct location. We got to the correct park and wandered off following the GPS. After a couple of false starts thanks to the size of the cache being overstated, Brahms 6 wandered into the bush looking for a regular size cache. the GPS was telling me it was in a far more accessable area but there was simply no chance of anything other than a micro cache here. The GPS was correct and I quickly grabbed the micro whilst calling forlornly for Brahms 6 to come back from the wilderness. When he returned covered in grass seeds I must admit it was quite hilarious. What was not hilarious was the thought of taking Julie's car home full of grass seeds so after signing the log we settled down to pick the seeds out of the brothers shirt. My turn would come later in the day. TFTC. TNLN.

Cheers Geoff1313

#81 Classic Car Park

9 of 20 today with Brahms 6. This equalled my best ever caching day and after this one we were 9 for 9. A fairly simple cache. I dropped the ladybug TB and took the Slug TB. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#80 Atlantis

8 of 20 today with my brother Brahms 6. This was a little bit harder but we soon had the cache in hand. I left the old maid playing cards and took the water pistol. This seemed like a likely place for the cache to be found by a family and I am sure some kids would appreciate them. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#79 I Rock

7 of 20 today with my brother Brahms 6. As previous logs have said the grass around this one provided good cover from the muggles driving by. A pity to see this memorial buried  due to lack of maintenance but also good to see that at least some people get to appreciate it through geocaching. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#78 Park and Grab

6 of 20 found today with Brahms 6. Judging by the name this should have been a simple stop and go drive by cache. This one was almost enough to make us walk away. The cache was so well hidden we couldn't find it for quite a while, but eagle eyed Brahms 6 refused to give up and in the end we had the cache in hand. This area was also a great spot for a cito cache as it had been used as a dumping ground. Such a pity. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#77 lets Play

5 of 20 with Brahms 6 today. Brahms 6 GPS took us straight to this one. Not a inch out. A quick sign of the log, the obligatory photo and on to the next cache. I left the Taz Devil in here as it looked like a suitable place for him. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#76 Gimme a home among the gum trees

4 of 20 today. A well named cache here. This one took a bit more work. A few muggles over in the skatepark but no real problems. SLTNLN.

Cheers Geoff1313

#75 Mystery Ink H.Q.

3 of 20 today with my brother Brahms 6. Another reasonably easy find. Cache is in good condition. TNLN.

Cheers Geoff1313

#74 Shaggy (Norville Rodgers) Where are you?

2 of 20 today with my brother Brahms 6. This was a reasonably easy find in good condition. Although I must admit that just as he was about to step across the gully to get to the cache, he mentioned that the last time he went caching in new dunlop volley's and came home with them covered in mud the reception was less than pleasent. Well you guessed it the volly's went under the mud and I just couldn't wait till we got homeand saw the reaction. Priceless. I left a slinky and took the Confederate Soldier. TFTC. The photo should show a black swan but I guess my photography is not the best. It looks more like Nessy.

Cheers Geoff1313

#73 Fred Jones, Where are you?

This was the first of 20 finds today for my brother Brahms6 and I on a Geocaching smash and grab of the Jimboomba area with a quick run up to Brissy to grab my nemisis in the middle of the day. This cache was not so good. We found the log book and the lid of the container. The rest of the cache was gone. Muggled we assumed, possibly by the dog that wandered over from across the road to see what we were up to. Left a new log Book in a plastic bag and placed everything back where we suspected it should have been.

Cheers Geoff1313

#72 Scrabble - A day at the beach

A cool hide. No sign of the wriggly inhabitants that others had mentioned. Cache is in good order. Got the clue. TNLN.
Must be low tide because I didn't need to get wet but I must say that the sand was pretty soft.

Cheers Geoff1313

#70 Sqeeda's Friends

Found this one today after going out to collect some parts. What a lovely little park. The cache container was half full of water but surprisingly the log book was almost dry. TFTC. I left the birdwatcher TB as I could hear lots of birds in the trees although I must admit that I didn't see many.

Cheers Geoff1313

#68 The Bend in the Line

A nice easy find. It was close to the house which caused some interesting moments but I got in and out safely. Found that the cache was big enough to hold my 2 casino chips so I left them there. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#67 The Back Streets

Well this is the worst one I have done. I obviously approached from the wrong side. Got up to my knees in mud getting through the creek. The grass was over my head with and underlying growth of stinging nettles. This place was wet sticky and muddy. Not fun at all. If this had been my first cache it may also have been my last. But I found it anyway and in good condition considering the surrounding terrain, I was quite surprised.Took the old maid cards and left the bicycle puncture kit because if anyone gets near this one on a pushbike, then they will need it. I came out with muddy shoes cuts, scratches and grass seeds everywhere so can someone please tell me if I am having fun yet. Probably an important lesson in that about wearing appropriate clothing I suppose. The photo doesn't show how bad it was but I am  6 feet tall and this grass was well over my head in places. TFTC

#66 RQ

For the third time today I was interrupted by muggles whilst grabbing a cache. This time it was a learner driver taking 10 minutes to do a 55 point turn using the drivway right beside the cache as I waited nearby to return it to it's hidey hole. As others have said this cache really needs some urgent attention. The log is saturated and I only managed to get a signature in it as the person before me had left a dry page. TFTC. Any way Julies plane was about to land so this was my last cache for today as it would not have been a good thing to miss picking her up :)

Cheers Geoff1313

#65 Flight Risk

I didn't have to dodge any plane spotting muggles but the local ranger held me up for a while as he chased a stray dog. The dog had a tag and was promptly redelivered home with threats of a stern talking to by the ranger. After he left I quickly had the cache in hand signed the log and went on my way. An interesting use in this area for old telegraph poles with local information. Also if I had gotten here a bit earlier I believe the local pub, (The Pink) does some nice meals for Sunday lunch. TFTC

Cheers Geoff1313

#64 K6-12 Olive Oil

This one definetly gets one of my favourite points. This is a smart hide and it also gives some valuable history of the Moonie Pipeline which runs from out near where I come from and was opened when I was only 5 years old. I remember the big spill near Hemmant before it closed down. The land there is still fenced off and not yet ready for normal use. The hide was a gem and the first one like it that I have seen. Top effort TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#63 On the (Brisbane) Waterfront

A nice easy find on the way to the Airport. Had to wait for 5 minutes after I had signed the log for the security guard at the site next door to finish doing his rounds of the perimeter before I could return the cache to it's spot. TFTC.

#62 City Plaza

Got this one without much trouble. A quick snatch and sign then home to write up some logs. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#61 Crouching Cacher, Hidden Coffee!

Thanks to the clues, this was an easy find. I wouldn't have had a hope without the clues as the GPS went haywire. There must have been a sixties night on in the club behind the caches as the ally was crawling with 50 to 60 year old hippies. Cool Man. Anyway SL and left. TFTC. Oh by the way the coffee shop was shut.

Cheers Geoff1313

#60 Runway Zero-One Brisbane

The GPS went haywire looking for this one. After looking aroung for a bit it quickly became obvious where it should be so that was where I looked and sure enough there it was. The log was in good condition. I wasn't sure whether to photograph the tree or the aircraft so I got both. TFTC.

Cheers Geoff1313

#59 Pineapples, Pineapples, Pineapples

This one nearly caught me out. I almost got muggled twice whilst getting this one. The people over the road drove up as I was about to grab it and then when I finnally got the cache and wondered away to sign it, I almost got caught again as I went to return it. I spent many days around here loading collecting or dropping off containers. Cache was in good condition. SL and left. TFTC.
